Do you have trouble seeing up close? Are you interested in trying a different option than reading glasses?
Presbyopia is a progressive, age-related eye condition that reduces the eyes’ ability to focus on near objects. This condition is why adults need to use readers, or remove their nearsighted glasses, to be able to see print at near (usually after reaching the age of 40).
There is now a new FDA approved prescription eye drop that can temporarily improve your eye’s near focusing ability and lessen your need to use reading glasses. Call our office in Grand Rapids at 616-949-8500 to get more information. If you have not had an eye exam at our office in the past year, you will need to have a comprehensive eye exam completed to discuss options with your doctor.
